1 - Life Cell.
2 - Obtain Wall Jump Skill from Ancestral Tree Fil.
3 - Climb the wall for an Energy Cell.

Backtrack all the way to the top.

4 - Push the rock by holding R2 to the left so that you can jump.
5 - Spirit Light Container, also a secret area #3.
6 - Again, you'll have push the rock to the far right to continue.
7 - Keystone.
8 - Spirit Light Container. 
9 - Holding R2 to push/pull the switch.
10 - Map Stone Fragment.
11 - Put the Map Stone Fragment you just obtained into the Map Stone.
12 - Keystone.
13 - Spirit Gate requires 2 Keystones.

You should have 2 Ability Points at this point, now create a Soul Link and level up "Quick Flame" (lower branch) and "Rekindle" (upper branch).

From here on, you should always prioritize leveling up upper branch, then middle branch, and last lower branch. The reason is that the upper branch has all the utility skills you need to survive and make the game easier especially the "Triple Jump" and  "Air Dash" skills.
