Now that we have new enemies for our Catalog Shaolong Gui and Long Gui. They are so much stronger than their counter parts so we'll have to tweak our strategy a little bit.

We'll start with Shaolong Gui (Adamanchelid). The best place to find them is at the Eastern Tors if you recall Crystarium Point Farming section, it's pretty much the same.

• Fang: Kain's Lance, Genji Glove, Power Glove, Warrior's Wristband, Gaian Ring
• Lightning: Omega Weapon, Genji Glove, Connoisseur Catalog, Sorcerer's Mark, Gaian Ring
• Vanille: Nirvana, Genji Glove, Weirding Glyph, Sorcerer's Mark, Gaian Ring

*** Note: Connoisseur Catalog is important because we want to take this opportunity to farm Dark Matter which is a rare drop from Shaolong Gui. We need 5 of them.

• SEN/SEN/SEN (default)
• SAB/SYN/SAB
• SEN/MED/MED
• RAV/RAV/RAV
• COM/COM/COM
• SYN/SYN/SYN

• Shaolong Gui always start the battle with Quake that why you should always have SEN/SEN/SEN as your default paradigm.
• Start by throwing 1 Librascope (skip this if you already have full intel).
• After you've taken damage from Quake, switch to SAB/SYN/SAB and spam Auto-Hinder until you see 6 debuffs sticked. Daze should be the last spell to put on it (Fang eventually cast 6 Daze).
• Once the Daze spell sticked, take this opportunity to switch to SYN/SYN/SYN and buffs everyone with everything you have.
• When you are ready, switch to RAV/RAV/RAV until the stagger meter reach 950% that when you shift to COM/COM/COM for full damage.
• This point is very important. During step 3 and 5, Shaolong Gui will fight you back with random attacks as following: Quake, Bay, Ultima, and Doom (rare). Watch out for these attacks, if you see it raises it's foot which means that it's gonna use Quake, so switch to SEN/MED/MED. If you see spell name pop up on its head as either Bay or Ultima, immediately switch to SEN/SEN/SEN. Bay deals damage and Daze while Ultima can wipe out your entire party that's why it's crucial to switch to SEN/SEN/SEN before the damage calculated. Finally, If you are low in health you can also switch to SEN/MED/MED.

It may take a few tries to get used to the strategy. Once you have collected 5 Dark Matters, you can continue to the next section.
