PG-P03 - Titan's Trials Part 2

Titan's Trials (Continued)

Route #3: A1 -> B1 -> C1 -> D2 -> E3

Titan's Trials - A1 (MISSION 35: The Road Less Traveled)

Titan's Trials - B1 (MISSION 36: Dark Deliverance)

Titan's Trials - C1 (MISSION 38: Moonlit Madness)

Titan's Trials - D2 (MISSION 42: Antihero)

Titan's Trials - E3 (MISSION 47: Unforcused Rage)

This one require a bit of a set up. At this point all your character should have the last slot of accessories which is pretty much empty I guess. Go to Equipment menu and equip Fang/Lightning/Hope, each with 1 Ruin Amulet. This will give them 10% additional magic defense which should be enough to resist the damage from Raktavija. If you think it is not enough, you can equip more magic resistance for this battle.

  • MISSION 47: Raktavija (x1)
    Reward: Mnar Stone (x1)
    Strategy:
    • Start with SAB/MED/SYN then manually cast Imperil and Slow in this order. Once they sticked, use 2 Libra for intel and wait for Hope to cast Shell, Protect, Bravery, and Faith on everyone.
    • Switch to COM/RAV/RAV for attack and SEN/MED/MED for healing.
    • If Hastes faded away, switch back to SAB/MED/SYN. Don't worry about other buffs.
    • Once Raktavija is staggered, switch to COM/COM/RAV. You should be able to finish it in one stagger.

Route #4: A1 -> B2 -> C3 -> D3 -> E4

Titan's Trials - A1 (MISSION 35: The Road Less Traveled)

Titan's Trials - B2 (MISSION 37: Dying of the Light)

Titan's Trials - C3 (MISSION 40: Solar Power)

Titan's Trials C3
Titan's Trials C3
  • MISSION 40: Verdelet (x2)
    Reward: Zealot's Amulet (x1)
Strategy: You don't need a Preemptive Strike for these guys, just start with RAV/COM/RAV and you'll win in 2 or 3 turns.

Items in this area:

  • ITEM (T-01): Starblossom Seed (x1)

Titan's Trials - D3 (MISSION 43: The Hero Never Dies)

Titan's Trials D3
Titan's Trials D3
  • MISSION 43: Goblin (x1), Goblin Chieftain (x1), Munchkin (x1), Munchkin Maestro (x1), Borgbear (x1), Borgbear Hero (x1)
    Reward: Speed Sash (x1)
    Strategy:
    • They are hard to Preemptive Strike so it's up to you if you want to spend time trying to sneak up on them.
    • Start with COM/RAV/RAV focus on Munchkin -> Goblin -> Borgbear -> Munchkin Maestro -> Goblin Chieftain -> Borgbear Hero last. When Borgbear Hero is alone, you can switch to SAB/MED/SYN and stick debuffs to kill it faster.

Items in this area:

  • ITEM (T-02): Starblossom Seed (x1)

Titan's Trials - E4 (MISSION 48: The Abyss Stares Back)

  • MISSION 48: Verdelet (x4)
    Reward: Twenty-sided Die (x1)
Strategy: Very easy battle, just start with COM/COM/RAV and you'll win under 15 seconds.

Route #5: A1 -> B2 -> C3 -> D3 -> E5

Titan's Trials - A1 (MISSION 35: The Road Less Traveled)

Titan's Trials - B2 (MISSION 37: Dying of the Light)

Titan's Trials - C3 (MISSION 40: Solar Power)

Titan's Trials - D3 (MISSION 43: The Hero Never Dies)

Titan's Trials - E5 (MISSION 49: Tyrannicide)

  • MISSION 49: Tyrant (x1), Centaurion Blade (IF SUMMONED)
    Reward: Particle Accelerator (x7)
    Strategy:
    • You fought it before and should have full intel, if not, cast 1 Libra.
    • Start with SAB/MED/SYN and put Deshell and Deprotect on it.
    • Then switch to COM/RAV/RAV. If it summons Centaurion Blade, focus on killing the blade first because the blade can deal lots of damage.

Route #6: A1 -> B2 -> C3 -> D4 -> E6

Titan's Trials - A1 (MISSION 35: The Road Less Traveled)

Titan's Trials - B2 (MISSION 37: Dying of the Light)

Titan's Trials - C3 (MISSION 40: Solar Power)

Titan's Trials - D4 (MISSION 44: The Old Ones Go to Rust)

Titan's Trials D4
Titan's Trials D4
  • MISSION 44: Monstrous Flan (x1), Corrosive Custard (x1), Hybrid Flora (x1)
    Reward: General's Belt (x1)
    Strategy:
    • Use 1 Librascope.
    • Start with SAB/MED/SYN, then manually cast Deshell on Hybrid Flora. Once sticked, switch to COM/RAV/RAV and kill it off.
    • Repeat this with Monstrous Flan.
    • Repeat this with Corrosive Custard, except this time when you are in SAB/MED/SYN, you should cast more debuffs Slow and Imperil while waiting for Hope to cast "Enthunder" on everyone.

Items in this area:

  • ACCESSORY (T-03): Cactuar Doll (x1)

Titan's Trials - E6 (MISSION 50: Road to Predation)

  • MISSION 50: Humbaba (x1)
    Reward: Scarletite (x1)
    Strategy:
    • You should have fought this guy many time during Chapter 12 and have all its intel already. Cast 1 Libra if you do not.
    • The only problem with this battle is the target time is pretty short, so start with SAB/MED/SYN and manually cast Deshell/Deprotect/Deshell/Deprotect/Deshell, both debuffs should be sticked in 1 turn. Then switch back to COM/RAV/RAV.
    • When it stands up, switch back to SAB/MED/SYN to recast Deshell and Deprotect again then switch back to COM/RAV/RAV.
    • If you cannot get 5 stars, reload and try again.

Route #7: A1 -> B2 -> C3 -> D3

Mission 51 can be activate from any path in "D" tier, but I chose this route because it is the easiest one.

Titan's Trials - A1 (MISSION 35: The Road Less Traveled)

Titan's Trials - B2 (MISSION 37: Dying of the Light)

Titan's Trials - C3 (MISSION 40: Solar Power)

Titan's Trials - D3 (MISSION 43: The Hero Never Dies)

MISSION 51: Attacus, the Soulless

This fight requires a special set up:

  1. Replace Lightning with Snow and equip the following equipment on him: General's Belt, Black Belt, Black Belt, Royal Armulet.
  2. Paradigms (Fang/Snow/Hope):
    • COM/RAV/RAV
    • RAV/RAV/RAV
    • COM/SEN/MED
    • SAB/SEN/SYN
    • RAV/SEN/RAV
  • MISSION 51: Attacus (x1)
    Reward: Genji Glove (x1)
    Strategy:
    • Start with SAB/SEN/SYN and immediately cast 2 Libra then put Deprotect, Deshell, and Slow on him. whenever any of these debuffs faded, switch back to this paradigm to recast.
    • When debuffs sticked, switch between COM/RAV/RAV and RAV/RAV/RAV 2 or 3 turns each to stagger meter.
    • When he is below 50% HP, he gained a new sword which can easily KO one of your party members with "Mediate" ability. At this stage, always have Snow in SEN role so that he can tank the damage.
    • Instead of switching between COM/RAV/RAV and RAV/RAV/RAV, we'll switch between COM/SEN/RAV and RAV/SEN/RAV instead.
    • This battle can last more than 10 minutes.

*** Note: Immediately equip "Genji Glove" on Fang. This accessory unlocks damage cap to 999,999 HP which mean that Fang can deal over 99,999 maximum damage.

That is all about Titan's Trials. However, do not change your party lineup yet because we have two other missions that need Snow.
