Titan's Trials
Titan's Trials is just a fancy word for a group of mission 35 to 51. Instead of running around activating the stones, they are in one place where you have to fight a series of battles demonstrated in the tutorial when you reach the Titan.
As shown in the picture above, after each battle, you have 2 paths to choose from until you reach tier "E", which means that you'll have to fight series of battles 6 times to complete mission 35 to 50. Each series has 5 battles. This is annoying because you have to fight earlier battles every time. Not to mention mission 51 has its own Cie'th Stone in any "D" tier which means that you have to fight 4 more battles before getting there, which bring the total to 7 times.
Before we proceed, set Fang as leader and Lightning/Hope as members. The paradigms should be the same. From here on, Fang should always be the leader.
Paradigms (Fang/Lightning/Hope):
- COM/RAV/RAV (default)
- SAB/MED/SYN
- SEN/MED/SYN
- SEN/MED/MED
- COM/RAV/MED
- COM/COM/RAV
I highly recommend that you spend some CPs on "Ravager" role for Fang so that she can help boost stagger meter faster. Just "Flamestrike" should do the job.
- MISSION 35: Gurangatch (x1)
Reward: Witch's Bracelet (x1)
Strategy:- It is really hard to Preemptive Strike this guy, I gave up and use Deceptisol, this shroud allows you Preemptive Strike any enemies. Once you get 5 stars, you don't need to use Deceptisol again for next 5 battles.
- Cast 1 Libra for full intel.
- Start with COM/RAV/RAV and it'll die in 10 seconds.
- MISSION 36: Amam (x2)
Reward: Uraninite (x1)
Strategy: Start with COM/RAV/RAV and switch between SAB/MED/SYN, then kill them off one by one.
Items in this area:
- ITEM (T-01): Gold Dust (x1)
- ITEM (T-02): Starblossom Seed (x1)
There is a Save Point here.
- MISSION 38: Verdelet (x3), Adroa (x1)
Reward: Diamond Bangle (x1)
Strategy: Start with COM/COM/RAV, they all should go down in 10 seconds.
Items in this area:
- ACCESSORY (T-03): Zealot's Amulet (x1)
- MISSION 41: Tonberry (x3)
Reward: Doctor's Code (x1)
Strategy:- It is best to Preemptive Strike these guys.
- Start with COM/RAV/RAV and you should be able to kill one.
- There are two remain, switch to SAB/MED/SYN and put debuffs (Deprotect, Deshell, Imperil) on them, then switch back to COM/RAV/RAV.
- If your Hastes ran out or need healing, switch back to SAB/MED/SYN.
Items in this area:
- ACCESSORY (T-04): Warding Talisman (x1)
Well, you fought this guy once, except that this time it doesn't have minions. The strategy here is pretty much the same. Setup:
- Put Vanille as leader.
- Remove Sprint Shoes from Lightning and put it on Vanille. Make sure her weapon is Malboro Wand.
- You only need one Paradigm Vanille/Fang/Hope as SAB/SEN/MED.
- MISSION 45: Neochu (x1)
Reward: Hunter's Friend (x1)
Strategy:- Start by casting Imperil on Neochu. Once it sticked, spam "Death" skill.
- Retry when you see Neochu uses "Pollen".
Now switch back to previous setup by removing Sprint Shoes from Vanille and equip on Lightning.
Paradigms (Fang/Lightning/Hope):
- COM/RAV/RAV (default)
- SAB/MED/SYN
- SEN/MED/SYN
- SEN/MED/MED
- COM/RAV/MED
- COM/COM/RAV
- MISSION 37: Rafflesia (x5)
Reward: Star Pendant (x1)
Strategy:- These guys are easy to Preemptive Strike.
- Use 1 Librascope for intel.
- Start with COM/COM/RAV and Blitz them to death.
- MISSION 39: Ochu (x1), Microchu (SUMMONED)
Reward: Siltstone Ring (x1)
Strategy:- You can't Preemptive Strike Ochu.
- So start the battle with SAB/MED/SYN and and manually cast Imperil and Deshell on Ochu and wait until Hope casted "Enfire" on everyone. You are unlikely to get 5 stars without "Enfire" so this is very important.
- Switch back to COM/RAV/RAV and focus on Ochu. You should be able to kill it in a few turns.
- Next, kill Microchus one by one.
Note: Before heading to the Mark, there is a unique new enemies here call "Flowering Cactuar" in the left path and can only be found here, so make sure you kill them and obtain full intel.
- MISSION 42: Borgbear (x4), Borgbear Hero (x1)
Reward: Witch's Bracelet (x1)
Strategy:- Just face them head on.
- Throw 1 Librascope for intel.
- Start with COM/RAV/RAV and kill Borgbear one by one.
- When Borgbear Hero is alone, you can switch to SAB/MED/SYN a few turns to debuff him then switch back to COM/RAV/RAV.
Titan's Trials - E2 (MISSION 46: On Silent Wings)
This battle requires specific setup:
- Replace Lightning with Snow and remove Sprint Shoes from Lightning.
- Equip Sprint Shoes, Black Belt, Black Belt on Snow. If you have another slot, equip Imperial Armlet.

- SAB/SEN/SYN (default)
- SAB/SEN/MED
- COM/SEN/RAV
- RAV/SEN/RAV
- MISSION 46: Zirnitra (x1)
Reward: Gilgamesh, Inc. (x1)
Strategy:- Cast 1 Libra.
- Start with SAB/SEN/SYN and Imperil, Deshell, and Deprotect until all of them sticked.
- Then switch to RAV/SEN/RAV to raise stagger bar.
- If you need healing, switch to SAB/SEN/MED.
- If the stagger bar decrease faster, switch to COM/SEN/RAV to slow it down.
Now remove Sprint Shoes from Snow and equip on Lightning then put her back on the team.
Paradigms (Fang/Lightning/Hope):
- COM/RAV/RAV (default)
- SAB/MED/SYN
- SEN/MED/SYN
- SEN/MED/MED
- COM/RAV/MED
- COM/COM/RAV
