Welcome to Gran Pulse. Start from here on, you will be able to freely do your own things, teleport back and forth between places and roam like an open world game, but why does it take this long?

Firstly, you'll notice Hope is missing from your party but don't worry because you'll get him back soon. Secondly, you party is also messed up but you shouldn't have any problem clearing your path for next 7 battles with your default paradigms.

Anyway, let's follow the yellow mark.

Paradigms (Lightning/Hope/Fang):

  • SYN/MED/SEN (default)
  • MED/MED/SEN
  • RAV/RAV/COM

  • EIDOLON (B-01): Alexander (x1)
    Strategy:
    • Cast 1 Libra.
    • Start with SYN/MED/SEN, then cast Protect on everyone.
    • Switch to RAV/RAV/COM to fill up the gestalt gauge.
    • Switch back to SYN/MED/SEN, this time cast Shell on everyone.
    • When you have Protect and Shell ready, switch between MED/MED/SEN and RAV/RAV/COM and he should go down before the countdown.

After the battle, you'll be in Archylte Steppe area. From now on, you'll spend most of your time here, it is huge but don't worry because you'll get used to the area and remember every corner of this vast landscape.

From here on, I won't be listing enemies anymore since you can come back anytime later even after post game. One last thing is that whenever you face a new enemy, always Libra them for full intel.
