Equipment
Let's talk about equipment and upgrade. You probably wonder what are the best weapons (ultimate weapons) for each character, right? If you go to any shop and try to sell weapons, some of them cannot be sold that's because they are the ultimate weapons, however their states are weak compare to others. you'll need to upgrade them to see their potential.

Materials
Let's talk about the upgrade. The process is pretty simple and straightforward. Unfortunately, even at this stage, you do not have all the materials to max out your equipment.
There are 6 upgrade materials. By now, you got plenty for the first 3 materials from chests, the fourth material is dropped by enemies in the last dungeon near the final boss, and the last 2 materials are only available in the "Void Realm".

Upgrading Equipment
For now, you just focus on upgrading whatever you have in your inventory. Let's teleport to "Secret Base -> Front of the Secret Base", then talk to the machine on the right to upgrade your equipment.
I would recommend upgrading everyone's ultimate weapon first. Note that you have one "Deus Augite", this allows you to transform one of your ultimate weapon to a new weapon so choose whoever you like (It's Leo for me).
- Tyrfing (Chaos Clay x3) -> Tyrfing Λ (Deus Augite x1) -> Ragnarok
- Ancient Staff (Chaos Clay x3) -> Ancient Staff Λ
- Royal Ring (Chaos Clay x3) -> Royal Ring Λ
- Ultimate Fists (Chaos Clay x1) -> Ultimate Fists Λ
- Carwennan (Order Motes x3) -> Carwennan Λ
- Positron Blaster (Chaos Clay x3) -> Positron Blaster Λ
- Growth Crystal (Chaos Clay x1) -> Growth Crystal Λ
- Majestic Lantern (Chaos Clay x3) -> Majestic Lantern Λ
For the rest of the materials, you can use them to upgrade the follow armors:
- Cyclone Ring (Whetstone x1) -> Cyclone Ring Λ (Chaos Clay x1) -> Cyclone Ring Ω
- Holy Belt (Chaos Clay x1) -> Holy Belt Λ
